Decent size "road" tyres. can u still get em?

Post by crankycruiser »

I have 37" claws on my 80 but only have 4 and would like a 5th (to suit 16" rims) now Bob Jane in tassie swear that anything above 35" in mickey T is no longer available?!?

So if they are no longer available, then what else is to suit 16"? I know u can get Pro comp ($740 a tyre :bad-words: ) wouldnt mind some BFG km2's, but can only get them in 17" in 37's!

Ideas anyone? are they full of crap about the mickey t sizes?

I went to the Bob Jane in Moonah yesterday and got finance for 4 Micky Thompson 37" X 13.5" Claws
coming in at around $680 a corner.. $2900 fitted balanced and wheel alignment.

i even asked the bloke at the counter if its true that we cant get tyres over a 35" in, and he looked at me a bit funny and said "of course you can get them!"

so thats that cleared up :)
