I'm just trying to find out if an 86 model D21 navara has live axle or ifs front end?

all navaras are ifs
D22 Navara....hydro coilovers, hydro steer, 42's...

How hard would an live axle conversion be?

how longs a piece of string? to many variables to give you any sort of a meaningful answer. sas on my d22 took me about 8months and its still not 100% finished after a year. but if you just leaf sprung the front then itd be alot quicker.

Ah ok then. Considering 80% of the time will be spent on road and off road will be more touring then anything the ifs should suffice then.
