Just the usual lockers lift 35's etc need some gearing for the rock crawling so real low range stuff where your on brakes going down hill is no fun.
What have you got or tested?

Was told on here that the auto low range gear will fit in the manual transfer,

I got my old blown auto home on thursday and im going to rip it apart and see how i go...

Was told that the auto low range ratio is 2.3 compared to 1.9 in the manual.

Any one got a heads up on that.

Hopefully it all goes to plan, im running 37's so 2.3 low ratio with 4.88 diff gears will make it lower than standard gearing with 31" tyres.

Cheers

Rookie.

I got the 2.3 ratio low range from a auto trans behind my manual trans with 35'' tyres. Its a good reduction, equivalent to about 4.88 diff gears. For rock crawling you probably want to go really low though. The great thing is its a really cheap option, using all factory parts and it does not effect hi range ( I run 33''s daily)

You need to count the gear teeth to confirm.
