Suzuki Sierra 1985 JX 1.3

Post by doubelwhat? »

Hey everyone, new to this forum. Just been given a Suzuki Sierra 1.3 from an uncle as a project car. The plate says this is a LJ50, is that correct, because searching the net has only told me LJ50's were from the 70's.

Anyway the car is in need of a lot of work with plenty of rust. My main concern is did these old Suzuki's have asbestos ? As in the brake pads, interior and any where else?

Cheers!

It will be a Sj50

Asbestos? If the pads have been changed recently, they won't have asbestos in them. Nor will they have asbestos anywhere else..Never heard of that before.

Alright Thanks for that.

Also a another question, this gasket set on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/VRS-Gasket-kit-S ... 35a9123c7b" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, is that all the gaskets needed to replace all the leaking gaskets through out the car?

Cheers, Timothy.
