Damo, I filmed that. Got the GMC and Chippa going up at the same time. I'll find it and put it up.

yeah thats true, not sure about the air lifting bit though. Scrutineers weren't happy about the hose running through the cab, apparently a bit of a s#!t fight about it but were allowed to race, then it burst, well thats what i heard anyway
Stupid thing to use (rubber hose) when it's exposed near a person in the cab. Apparently it wore out rubbing against a bolt or something like that.

And the scary part about it, was it could of been my hubby Wazza as the Navy! He was asked numerous times to navy and the only thing that stopped him was Waz was asked to Pit Crew for ARB Bendigo first.

Glad the other guy is ok. Apparently it was't a good sight when it happened :(
Just curious as to how you people feel?
I was an innocent victim of some elses stupidity. The hose didn't burst. THe hose used is rated well beyond the application it was used for.
There was no shite fight at scrutineering.
I spent three and half weeks in the burns unit of concord hospital suffering physical pain and mental trauma that you wouldn't understand and i could never wish on anyone then i come home to find crap like this written about me. Thanks for the support!!!

On a lighter note i would like to sincerely thanks those involved in helping me through this from the incident through to the phone calls and hospital visits.
I kinda want to write more but it's been so hectic i'm not sure where to start.

Hey Ruffy , sure is good to here your back home mate , all the boys from Adelaide have been thinking of you, Micks been keeping me up to date with your recovery as best he can. Very unfortunate accident mate, you must have been through hel and back. Great to here your recovering well, it must be nice to be out of hospital and back home with friends and family. Congrates on third place, very well deserverd ,you both worked so hard all week, almost bombing out before the first stage, only to rebuild the car during the night before. Great team effort, thats what outback events are all about. Unfortunatly you didn't get to celabrate in Cobar with us on Friday night, well there is always next year. I hope you make a full and healthy recovery mate, i'm sure there are still some tuff times ahead. Regards Dan and all the LOOSE RACING Boys.

Hey thanks Dan...
Great event and great to have mates like you guys there.. Unfortunately for me the incident kind of over shaddowed the event but it was great to go through all that we did and still bring homea little bacon.
Have to thank pinchy for carting Jack around.. what a trooper he is.
Was a good rivalry through the whole week. Thanks..
And of course, Thanks for your assisant during the incident and helping mick out afterwards and keeping him in the event.
I honestly don't recall who played what part in my recovery etc but i do remember your distinctive voice being there, hence i asked you to keep mick in the event...
I have tried ringing you a few times but you're obviously as good at answering your phone as i am..hahahaha..
If i get over you're way i feel i owe you a beer!!!
Thanks again mate!
