Iv almost finished replacing my 8274-50 Solenoid pack with an Albright.
My question is, dose the Albright need to use the thin earth wire leading from
the OE 4-pack of solenoids to the winch earth

Albright Solenoid Question

Re: Albright Solenoid Question
Not quite sure exactly how the Albright pack is supplied, but the solenoid pack WILL need an earth connected. I would assume that thin wire would be to earth the solpack not the winch

Re: Albright Solenoid Question
Im pretty sure that it is grounded by mounting tabs that hold the solenoid .
And that thin wire was to ground the pack that was mounted to the motor originally .
But I just want to make sure

Re: Albright Solenoid Question
You wont need the small earth. From memory it acts as a safety mechanism for the switch.
