1hz egr removal for turbo install

Post by crunk81us »

Turbo and parts are on the way for the install onto my 105's 1hz. I have done some searches but can't find the answers I am after.
I a fairly confident I will be right to d/c the egr stuff, but how is this going to affect my electrics?
It is mechanical injection but there are computers monitoring stuff.
I currently have a tps fault, which i believe wont affect the way it runs?
How do i disconnect the egr stuff without having lights flash on my dash?
can I disconnect the computer? where would i find it?
has anyone done this?
please help

I did this with my engine.

I don't know how it will affect your electrics as i put the 105 engine into a 75.

I blanked the egr port on the manifold and took the diaphragm section out of the crossover pipe.

There are a few pics in my build thread mate.
