vaccum pump hose/pipe and supercharger

Post by bingo »

hi all i got a problem i got a 92 td42 engine that i got recently and now i am changing all my td42 97 bits onto it
i am changing the hole front timing cover from 97 so that i can use my 100amp alt and have the vacuum pump separate from the alt on the bottom of the timing cover.
but this is where i came unstuck as i have to retro fit the vacuum return pipe from the driver side to the passenger side where the 92 model has the inlet and outlet for the oil
i will block the inlet as i don't need it as the pump takes it from the timing cover but now i don't know where to get the pipe/hose from to do this has any one done it ? and if yes how

not only that i am also fitting supercharger on it and don't know where to put the fuel filter/pump as there is no room now  for it on the driver side so if i run it to the driver side will it course problems as the diesel has to travel a long distance there and back ?
also whats a good exhaust to fit 2.5 or 3 inch
and will i have to do anything to my pump?

the 02 has bee fully rebuilt i been told they got better blocks/heads stronger and bigger top bearing
also fitting exedy hd clutch onto it hope its good enough for towing and 4x4
but still can not decide on the snorkel for it so many on the markets but i don't like plastic ones and have no idea where to get alloy or steel ones from that will give me good air flow and cool the air
whats a good diff locker to fit to it considering the power/torque i will get that will not snap my axles or break the locker
tx in advance for any help
