Re: 45 series, mounting sport seat
you will find height is not to much of a problem its is maily the center line to S-wheel thats is important bolting rails to the original frame makes it easy and should pass ..also make sure it moves freely and allows good adjustment front to rear as they tend to check it ..also make sure the seat is firm and doesnt move around on the rails as they will say its to worn and replace it
71 fj40 front shackle reversal +3" , 55 rear springs +3", 35 15.5 claws , 60 diff's 4wheel disc's , SOON TO BE WINDSOR V8 + 5 speed
74 fj40 stock but very clean
84 bj40 3b stock and unloved

Re: 45 series, mounting sport seat
so just use some flat bar an bolt to the tub and then but bolt the seat rail (and seat of course) to the flat bar, sounds pretty simple

yea i had a search, but couldn't pull anything up, any ideas what it was called. the angle sounds to be a good idea, that's what i was thinking of, how would it go with engineering?
