hey guys the info is awesome!!!

So ive been out and grabbed a handbrake mech which mounts interior side of firewall. And im still looking for a purge sensor and charcoal canister. I will most likely use a v6 canister as Yamaha_304 is since here in NZ our wreckers have an abundance of those vehicles.
I will also wire the stop lights up as well just to keep everything as factory as possible.

Purge sensor does it need to be from a 3rz engine?

The list of things needed has almost neared the end.
Feel free to add things i may have missed for this conversion. cheers

Had a yarn with the boss lady and shes keen for me to hurry up and get the bloody thing done lol. So im off to the islands this Sunday to repair some plant equip then when i get back i can get into it. Stoked as.....! :D

So its powered by the the ECU relay?

Which plug and pin does the black/white go to on ECU?

So the ECU tells the purge valve to close when the engine is running?

Thanks mate!

Nice one Yamaha_308, im after the same info, i scored a canister and purge valve from a v6 surf. One problem though, on the v6 it has what looks to be a vac pump connected by a vac hose to the purge valve. So there is 2 wires-white/black and a red for the purge valve. The purge valve has only one port connecting to the VAC port of the vac motor/pump and the other port has ACT which goes to the purge on the the charcoal canister. That motor/pump has has 2 wires from the connector being white/black and red/white.

Can anyone help me out as to how i would wire this setup into my loom. It seems to be different to YN67highlux's purge valve being the actual 3rz purge system.

Cheers guys, appreciate your help.

Ok to the people that helped me out sorry to say that i have fallen through on the engine exchange. Before you say what a drop out, the reason is because i bought a new hilux 2000 model which has the 2.7 3rz donk in her. Happily say its awesome to have the new beast and so im now constantly looking at options to give it a great look while also being very practical.

Thanks again for your help guys!!! :smilecolros:
