so i carn't realy put any of your cars down , oh stuff ya i will, redzook hilux diffs nice and wide , greg no spoa wide track diffs low centre off gravity , keck well engineered car alot of tough competion experience = , wimps  real men drive spoa narrow tracks with 2" spring lift and 2" body lifts on little retread 31" tyres with dogy roll bars and all sown up with dodgy welds :D .

one last word if anyone see's a yellow zook on the way to berridale gone off road into a ditch, fence , please feel free to stop and lend me a hand .

Sorry mate - we stopped the slanging to get on with the organising.

I'm organising the rental of either:
a. Holiday Units, or
b. OnSite Vans

So that we can all stay in town. This will also reduce the organising requirements for on the property.

Check out the Melbourne to Berridale thread for more details.

antt wrote:anyone ever transported a car from brissy to canberra???

just wondering how much it'd cost to get my junk down there and back, cause i don't want to have to worry about babying it around, plus i'd need to be back for uni on the monday probably, so i'd probably fly down and back

Ive transported a car from gold coast to canberra! Through Combined Car Carriers in Elanora. Arrived in Canberra through Canberra Carways.

Just checking my receipts now and there is actually no price on them :?

From memory it was about $200-$300.

Combined Car Carrieres phone number is; 5598 5433

Hope this helps

Camping!
Planned camping in the mountains is ok.
It’s the unplanned night spent in the mountains that’s a bit cold and uncomfortable.

Even if I dont have a Zuk I will still trundle along to take pics and scab a ride whereever I can and most importantly .. join in the nighttime festivities

May also be able to tow home some of the dead or wounded

It has proven to be all too much for our little club. Actually what is happening is our club insurance is currently under review as there maybe a change of under writers. So as it sits it is not the best time for our club to be undertaking an event that requires insurance on private property.

As to organising it as I said I am willing to try and get it up and running but the July dates weren't good for me. Anyone else is free to take the reins and try and get it happening but at this stage it is looking unlikely
