my mates gq has a really bad shudder from 60-80km/h, we have come to the conclusion its comin from the tail shaft any ideas CHEERS!!

my gq wagon once did this aswell as making a wierd droning noise, turned out to be the universal on the rear tailshaft closest to the transferbox, the uni needle bearings were powder, dont know how it stayed in there

- Uni joints
- Incorrect pinion angle
- Poor tyre balance
- Flogged out slipjoint

Is it definately coming from the back (can't feel it through the steering wheel)?

Besides alread mentioned theres:

Check wheelbearings, front and rear
If Body lift --> tighten bolts
King pin bearings --> pull out shims
Panhard bushes
GQ Patrol Wagon, 6 point roll cage
351 cleveland, CHI heads, solid cam, Funnelweb single plane, 750 HP DP
