im pretty sure it depends on what engine you have and what mods you have done to your car, also how you drive it.

out of a stock standard Vitara (G16B engine) i was getting around 300+k's to the tank while only using 2wd around town. i now have extractors and a 2" exhaust and get close to 400ks per tank if i dont drive silly.

i own an X-90, G16b vitara engine 1996

i have 2" sping lift, and 27.1" tires.

i end upw ith around 360ish per 32L of fuel

if i run it down greatly on highway i end up with around 450ish using 38L (42L tank)

around town maybe 350-360 (if i'm not beign silly)

4WD i get around 280-300k's per 32-36L

IF i am being silly though heavy right foot i get around 260-270k's per 32-34L fuel..

hopw that's enough info to how much i get per tank oh and it's a Manual :)

Abs!!!

if out on the open road i sometimes get as bad as 200kms from a tank but my old motor wasnt running right and had to be run rich. New motor is better but havent really tested it yet.

Back when I first fixed up my Holden Drover 1324cc G13A, I used to get as much as 410km per tank (my best fuel economy figures are 8.1L/100km), but now it struggles to get 340km per tank. I've got extractors and 2" exhaust system and 235's (next tyres I want 30x9.5 but no bigger). I'm thinking of getting a 'top end refurbishment', eg minor head work, maybe cam, definitely carby, distributor, etc...

Once I was driving down the Newel Highway from Melbourne to Tamworth, fully loaded with luggage, two adults, one child and I got 8.5L/100km. Pretty impressive if you ask me!

I had a stock standard 410 (1 litre) that thing was awesome on fuel, after a re-ring and new bearings.. it would buzz along at 100Kph and use about 7 to 7.5 liters per 100.
470Ks + to a tank for a $1000 car was brilliant.

I miss that little blue buzz box.
