cab swap on gu patrol hilux or navara

been thinking of doing a cab swap on my gu patrol wagon
to think they say d22 single cab navara
or space cab or single cab new shape hilux
looked at my mates hilux measure the same flare to flare as the gu 1910mm
anyone done this i remember gu chassis with navara cab in a 4x4 monthy dvd
is this possible in qld cheers

out of curiosity, what do you want to achieve with this?

I could understand to achieve a space cab, but for another single cab?

mud4b just did this with a d22 dualcab on a gq chassis
D22 Navara....hydro coilovers, hydro steer, 42's...

something different really only thing was going to cut up the wagon but see if i can get a cab at a good price

Definately can be done to comply with Qld rego. The rest comes down to following NCOP & having an engineer sign it off.

looking forward to having a look at the finished product whatg ever you do .... would love to c a new hilux body on their.. not 2 many people could say they drive anything like that ... my only legality advice would be drop into your local motor regestry and ask ..... they will know or will find out.
