Picts of GQ dual cab chop (rear wall picts needed)

Post by patrol_maverick »

I'm planning a dual cab chop on my Mav and I'm after some picts of how people have done the rear wall of the cab. I've done some searching but haven't found many good picts.

Has anyone done a write-up of doing the chop? I can't find a dedicated dual cab thread, only random info.

Thanks- patrol_maverick

I've recently done a dual cab chop on my GU.
There is a buildup with lots of pics on another forum.
I know it's not a GQ but still basically the same thing, GQ would be even easier considering the square shape.

I can pm you the link if you're interested in having a look.

Hey mate can't wait too see another dual cab.
I actually have 2 dual cabs check out my threads, in my posts I have one that is a little ruff than another I bought half done.
I was told that a dual cab is like a mans version off a quater chop.
I would contact an engineer before chopping. There are certain things such as child safety restraints and so on. I have pics off one thet is braced very nicely allowing a lot of room behind the rear seat. PM me if you want a direct link and ill PM you
Good luck
