Auto hubs faulty?
Broken front CV?

Jack it up to see what is going on.

Front drive shaft turns, but no drive would it more likly be the hubs than the diff.will try pulling hubs off for inspection

If the front drive-axles turn, but the wheels don't then likely to be hubs - you can test this without stripping the hubs...

Also possible that you have a broken CV joint. If the CV joint
in one side is broken, the other wheel will no longer turn.

Check out the actuator on the front diff is working. Mine got bent down when we put the motor back in with a bobcat, dropped a little quick and the sump pushed it down (was nearly dark at the time, thought it had just hit the crossmember). Didn't notice till I tried to drive up a hill and no 4wd.

Couldn't really see it till I put it on a hoist with the bashplates off, bit of massaging with a tyrelever and it worked fine then.

If you engage 4wd does the front shaft work ? You should lift the pajo and make some tests...

Won't have the actuator on the front diff as it is a gen 1.
