Re: 1982 ln 46 hilux 4x4
Ive just upgraded the front brakes on my LN65.
My lux had solid rotors and calipers that have 35mm and 25mm pistons.
I upgraded to vented rotors, and calipers that have 45mm pistons.
They came from a LN106 Lux.
I am going to fit larger diameter drums down the track.
You should be able to run disc rears, Roc7oy does the bracketry for this conversion, I think from memory, you will need GQ rotors and Suby L-series calipers.
If you plan on running disc rear, you may need to upgrade the master cyl, I just fitted the master cyl and booster from an early 80series.
You will need the master from a late model 80series, early 80s had drum rear. Later model 80s had disc rear.
You should ask Roc70y about the disc conversion for your model and see if it will work.
Hes got an ad in the classifieds,
Good luck with it.
