Sierra/Grand vitara/h27a supercharged?

Post by matteovillani »

I have a 1985 Suzuki Sierra with a h27a from a suzuki grand vitara.

The H27A displaces 2.7 L (2736 cc, coming from an 88mm bore and 75mm stroke). It produces 135 kW (181 hp) at 6000 rpm and 250 N·m (184 ft·lbf) at 3300 rpm.

Anyone know if the h27a can be supercharged (preferably) or turbo charged?

Any motor can be supercharged/turbocharged if you have enough money.

Do you have enough money? I reckon there's about $5K in getting it set up.

That said, I would have thought if it's properly geared, 135Kw and 250Nm should be plenty (and plenty for the handling of a big sierra)

Fair call Steve,
I was more interested in whether it was possible with the h27a and if anyone had done it. Was'nt planning on doing it (at least not in the near future), I'm more than happy with what it's got.
