Hi All,
Have looked around but can't find info on how to strip and clean starter on GQ TB42. Pretty sure she'll be filthy. Firstly can the average jo blo do this? If so can someone give me some info on what I need to do.
Or would it be simpler to take to auto elec? Would like to save the dollars if I could though!
Thanks Ian

Re: TB42 Starter motor
After pulling mine apart they are actually quite easy, yours is the same as mine just smaller. I picked up a manual for GU by Max Ellery, damn good manual has the exploded view of the starter pretty simple when you can reference to that.
