Brian and I have had the last three months off travelling round Australia and called into the Beaudesert show grounds this afternoon on our way home.
We would like to publicly thank Cookie and his team of helpers for setting up the 4x4 track for this weekend’s lifestyle show. A fantastic effort considering the weather you’ve had.
The course looks great guys and looking at today’s practices with lots of mud splashing around and cars requiring assistance to get out of some of the bog holes it should be a challenge for most of the cars tomorrow. Hopefully once the big boys have driven their comp course’s a couple of times during the day the other classes competing at the park during the morning will be able to get through their last track of the day at the showground.
Once again thank you to all those who have made this track possible. Without your assistance we would not have been able to showcase 4x4 driving at this show.

Hi guys, I'd like to thank everyone that was involved in making the show weekend happen, whether your were a driver or involved in organising. The show, as far as entertainment for the spectators goes, was an absolute success! To anyone that drove on any of the three days thankyou. The guys involved on saturday were amazing, cars never stopped being driven all day, with up to eight cars on track at once, and safety for drivers or spectators was never at question. It was a very profesional display at all times, and was a massive boost for exposure of our sport. I spent most of the day in our stand around the spectators, and heard nothing but positive comments about the show the guys put on, so thanks again. I'd also like to mention Cookie and his efforts building the tracks. Most don't know that the earlier arrangement to have council help building the corse fell through at the last moment, so cookie pretty much built it himself, and largely at his own expense. So thanks again cookie, I'm sure it wont go un-noticed. And of coarse thanks to everyone from scenic rim adventure park. Brendan, Kareen, Joe & clint and anyone else I've forgotten, thanks for all your efforts, was a great fun weekend.
I've got some pics posted up on our website now, with heaps more to come. I've yet to access more memory cards, so will get more pics of more drivers and more cars posted asap. Visit http://www.offroadboss.com.au/category/gallery/for all the pics.
Look forward to seeing everyone at King Of The Rim
Cheers,
Rob
