Sweet JD2 mounting idea

Post by bru21 »

Having 8 holes allows the bender to index at 45 degrees.
I'm sure others have had this problem

cheers bru

I remember seeing that on Pirate but as I don't have the model 3 I forgot about it. Definately a handy investment as the mobility issue was one of the reasons I went with the model 4.

I searched for model 4 mounting plate - to see if I could order one rather than buy a 3/4 drill.

That came up. It is pretty random I admit.

Its a pity on the model 4 you can't zero the degree wheel.
That will certianly bite me at some stage.

That and the fact the 4 is about half as strong as the 32 - I probably should have gone that way.

It is a sweet bit of kit though and I do like the idea of no U clamp to expand out if the pin is not engaged - although I have not yet bent anything on it.
