well I've asked around and some people have said, there's no point the engine is too old, and others have said yeah it could work..

how many Kms on the motor? I turbo'd my old 2.4 with 295thou and apart from turbo seals leaking, was a s/h kit, have had no dramas

turbo it, keep the boost to 10psi or lower, fit a pyro gauge so you can monitor temps safely...

And never look back.

It s relatively cheap for a second hand set up. the difference is significant - without a doubt the best mod that can be done on a 2.8

by the way did i mention DO IT!

do the service first.. If you have no dosh for a service, why even think about a turbo? unless of course it's ridiculously cheap and in good condition...

A turbo will work, even with a few kays on it.

But you will adjust to the performance increase very quickly. Even with a turbo, they are a poor performer compared to everything else on the road.
