what leafs can i fit to a 96 hilux with 2" lift+2" shakles
i have run into a bit of trouble i have recently installed some 2inch extended shackles from buds customs. but as they sit on the car they are just about up right, giving a really hard and bumpy ride, i have been told that if i place the rear leafs on the front of the car and buy new longer leafs for the rear from dobinson, efs etc that will put a better angle on the shackles giving it a better ride and more flex, has anybody had this trouble?? if so what did you do. please help
Re: what leafs can i fit to a 96 hilux with 2" lift+2" shakl
just go to a spring shop and get some springs made to the same specs as your ones you have now but with a 2 inch extension on te rear part of the spring (from cntre pin back) will cost you around 175 per spring if you go to carrolls or similar elsewhere. putting rears in the front is not simple bolt in, not hard but considering the evidence of the shacles etc it is prob more effort than you want to put in.
Many thanks to Buds Customs, for all their ongoing support
