Injected 1.6 into truggy

Post by troopy94 »

Hi guys
I,m planing to put an injected 1.6 from a 96 vit into my truggy and wanted to know if I will have to do the vss mod to get the motor to run correctly or is it not needed in a car that never sees the road or even gets above 80kph. I will also be running the standard vit auto if that makes any difference.

VSS is not needed, but it will cause the engine light to stay on (if you even hook it up). I never hooked the VSS up in my old zook and the engine ran fine, even at highway speeds.

Thank you for that I wasn't planning on having a speedo so not having to worry about the vss will make things easier and now to track down a wiring diagram

Mine doesn't have the vss hooked up, and runs fine.
Only time I see the engine light is when its off.
