Hey Troy, team six aka wild racing will be known as "Dis-Traxion" for the weekend. I'll be calling you tomorrow regarding such matters and a heads up for what we're in for!!! After all i'm bring 5 new guys and 2 new vehicles down for a spin so want to find out if it's worth trailering these dailys down or drive!!
All this talk of car length vertical drop offs, roof deep water and climbs that will scare even the toughest trail hardened blokes like Mosko has me a tad worried!!

And I'm halfway to Lowmead as we speak with my spy camera in hand, so I will report back on the P/h levels of the water, The soil density, the breaking strength of the local foliage ( for Team Tree Hugging trio ) and the taste and texture of the local wildlife droppings... ( because i didn't have breakfast...)

but seriously I shall throw up a few teaser photo's by the end of this weekend for the out of towners to have a looksie

Ok. went down to Lowmead this morning and checked out only two of the tracks, couldnt find the other ones

But the two we checked out were absolutely awesome , the terrain looks like something out of any of the Predator movies so definately dont watch them before you head down

a fair bit of clearing has to be done but here are a couple photo's of stage 6 & 7

this is heading from the start line down as far as i can tell, but either way these rocks will be driven and it may end up even being a case of them being driven both ways!!

Loking back up: it looks flat, but there is a fair bit of space between each of the larger rocks and is one thats in an absolute diff cruncher of a spot!!

And stage 6, sorry i didnt take many photo's but was still a bit to much vegitation in the way of the good stuff!


this stage is a fun little creek run with a couple deeper holes, but overall not to hard at all,


will just be interesting to see if the tracks get better or harder with the sandy bottom and if there will still be much water in there?

Heck yeah!! your spot on Giggles, half worn boggers with a nice big wide foot print will love the sandy bottom, and low down torque is going to reign supreme in these super ass tight tracks!! there no where to get the dirty petty/s wound up!!

hey mosko good photo's however we thought the rocks would be diff and cv smashers, we are fully aware of the stock cars signed up. but don't be fooled we have other places you can scratch your car but it will be all in the way you want to drive some stages. if you drive your every day driver as if you want to drive it home you will but if you want to drive like a man posesed then, well you may get a love rub or two, It would be advisable to have 1 or more good winches in the team as you will need then on the day stages.

So you like the rain forest stages 5 and 6 hey mosko weve got some cool stuff in there hey and if we ever run a full blown comp did you check out the awsome vert winch walls oh yeah baby.
so day stages are cool wait till the night stages we got some awsome sh--t in store that i can't even tell you about
but ill give you a teaser we got the c container down there and the second story is built ready for the cartel boys to over see all the night stages. awsome and play the good tunes by the licenced bar where the dinner will be cooked on the spit

hey guys i was reminded today that it is time to start to show our appreciation for our sponsers who's generosity is a big facter on how successful the comp will be, so as you get your cars in order check out our flyer and give the guys a go when you shop around and when you swipe your card through there credit card machine tell them where youll be using the product and they will hopefully jump on board again next year.
only today we were given some money from the lovely lady at CALTEX BOROREN TO PUT TOWARD THE EVENT, so when you drive through, call in say g'day, buy your fuel , ice and get a feed, the tuker is yumo

Haha, yep i surely do like the terrain down there!! it has so much potential its not funny!! and i did see that extra steep bit of creek bed! navis would struggle to get up it

Cant wait for this event! will seriously be one of the best spectator/ family friendly events ive ever been to!

how were the other pre marked stages mate?? 2,3,4,5? does that part of the creek hold water? or is it just flowing like 6/7's area?

at the monent the water isn't to bad, steady flow will drop level over the next two weeks. but if we cop a lot of rain between now and then things will get a little funky i ran my car through all the tracks and the zook ran 2 stages and the boggy sections held up for 1 car at least. 45 cars mmmm
well who knows

TroyTen that terrain is really sweet! To think you have everything there from rolling cleared valleys to tech creek runs, etc! Puuurrrfect!

This comp surely is going to be a great heap of fun!! And the mindgames and heckling are going to be full on haha,
oh and for those who haven't been informed there has been a change to the rules and regs, so on day #1 Mr Russell Mason's team will be required to wear white T-shirts , this new rule has been put in place for nothing more then safety reasons...... I swear I'm not tricking!
