Hey fellas,
Is it possible to increase the oil level in an air shock so it can hydro lock itself b4 bottoming out? While still maintaining a decent air/oil ratio?
Shock in question - 12" redback airshock

Re: Air shock - bump stop
You can with Fox airshocks.
That's how the rears are in my buggy.
More oil and less Nitrogen makes them softer at ride also, but more progressive ramping.
Should relate directly to the redbacks.

Re: Air shock - bump stop
Alright well i have increased the oil level a bit till it hydraluics with 5mm of shaft left sticking out.
Obviously i do still intend on running another bumpstop but hopefully untill i get that dialed in correctly this will save my shocks somewhat.
