filliing a vitara Edit: auto whats fluid to use?

i need to fill the auto in my vitara its the electronic 4 speed behind a h20a there are 2 levels "H" and "C" im guessing this means hot and cold
it has some fluid in it so is it best to get it hot and fill it or do it cold
does atf expand when hot meaning that when its hot you make sure its at the higher level "H"

yeah mate fill it while its hot, it does expand-thus 2 level indicators.

fill it directly through the dipstick with a funnel or some hose.
