Post by gingerbreadman »

what options are out there for a cruiser fj45 as far as rims go. im hearing too many bad stories about split rims so im not sure what direction to head in. im just after something in either 15 or 16 inch that will give me at least a 32 inch size.going to call the shops tomorrow but just seeing what you guys say .

there is nothing wrong with split rims. you could try and find some 16x6 LX rims and get some 32 skinneys onh them. any 7.50x16 is spot on a 32" tyre

Split rims go alright, but they do look a bit plain if you want a head turning vehicle. Another tip is to not get rag tyres, they're priced ok but will not last unless the vehicle is always on the dirt.

Most tyre mobs do metric radials for these rims 235/85 is the same diameter as the 750/16 but wider across the tread.
Just picked up a set of rags this weekend and they will be for spares as they are verv agressive.

cheers
