zf 4 speed transmisson
Could someone tell me how much horsepower a zf 4 speed can take its in a 1988 range rover. Can you make them stronger? Ive currently got a 350 chev in front of it didnt really want to go with the t400 because the zf is so smooth...
Re: zf 4 speed transmisson
short answer... go the T700
medium answer, it can't really handle much more power then a stock 3.9 will dish out, sure people run them behind 4.6s and modified 3.9s (myself included) but don;t expect it to last for ever.
They can be beefed up with the HP24 internals. If you search google for ashcroft transmissions you will find a bit of information regarding this.
