2nd hand highmount issues
I recently rebuilt a 2nd hand highmount, replacing the bushes and seal for the drum, putting a new brake kit in it and a new clutch. Once i reassembled it, the drum has a lot of flex in the housing causing it to leak oil. My only idea is that the locking plate is warn alowing the drum to move in the housing. Any help would be geatly appreicated.

They only take like 200-300mls of oil in the first place, so dont know if you have over filled it.
I seen a lot of highmounts with the same issues your describing, dont think its to much to worry about.

Did you fit the new seal on to the drum itself (fits between drum and the nylon bush) it left out it will leak.
