Just a quick question : Has anybody read been told of Rulings on top speed ,
Eg: If a vehicle can only achieve 80kmh At full song- would it be refused registration? :roll:

They should not be able to refuse you registration because your truck
can not do 100 km/h.

Just look at them dumb ass scooters that they sell, they can only do a top speed of 50 km/h

You may be restricted on where you drive it, like you don't see scooters on the highway. Or when you see a crane on the highway they have yellow lights flashing. :)

old landies are pretty slow and they rego them.
just dont tell them how fast it goes, what are they gunna do, take it for a highway run, i think not :)

Get ya self some big flashing lights, a sign on the front and rear saying slow moving vehicle for when you travel on the highway.

And if you have to drive it on the freeway, use all of the above then get two dudes on scooters, front and rear with flashing lights and signs that say slow moving vehicle ahead.

Put this in a proposal for when you want to register it, and you will be fine. Or maybe don't they might think you are strange.

theres no way they can't give you a rego for a slow moving vehicle.
And what vehicle does 80ks tops.

Hmm,

I'd say a 3.5litre rangines top speed would be about 80km/h up any hill, and they still register them :)
Come to think of it, if they rgister zooks, th'd register anything!
