Hey guys, got a problem with the fuel gauge in my gu patrol ute. when just filled up at the servo it reads full, drive 5 ks down the road and it reads halfway between full and 3/4. then stays this much out till its at about 1/4 of a tank. just put new sender/ float assembaly in the fuel tank, disconected the battery and its not leaking anywhere i can see. please help, driving me bonkers :? :? :?

yeh, its bloody anoying. when your planning a trip across the simpson, i think a correct gauge would be a necessity!!! :bad-words: :agrue:
