Gday all just a quick question. I have a 1983 dual cab lux with a 2.2 diesel and 4 speed. I currently have a set of cheese cutter on it 225x75r16. A mate of mine has a set of tyres they are 32x12.5 and he wants to get rid of them to get 35's, My question is will these tyres be to much for the old girl and will I loose to much top speed (not that theres much now) and acceleration?
Thanks
Nic

Re: 83 Lux
Try the wreckers mate, I'm no expert, but that would be the first place i would look. Also, I would reccomend getting the 2.8 turbo'd.

Re: 83 Lux
Yeah i have asked a few wreckers but no good yet, Do you think a 2.8L conversion would be easier then a 3L or pretty much the same.
Re: 83 Lux
its a much of muchness some minor difrents but nothing to wory abought i would put a 2.8 turbo in or just look for a cheap surf and use all running gear
