Just wondering how safe it is to be sleeping in a tent or caravan while a gas operated fridge is running?
Assuming there is no gas leaking from any fittings.
Would all new 3 ways come with a safety off if the pilot were to extinguish?

3 way fridges on gas in enclosed room?

Re: 3 way fridges on gas in enclosed room?
Not really recommended to have the portable fridge indoors on gas due to the buildup of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide (= quiet death). Caravans with built in fridges do it by having the pilot light vented to outside of the van. CO/CO2 are both heavier than air and cannot be smelt, and enclosed areas end up like a bathtub. Given that you tend to sleep within inches of the floor you can understand the problem. Portable 3ways are best kept outside of sleeping/living areas, under the annex with good ventilation.
