Air con belt

My 4500 80 series keeps stretching air con belt, and they keep screeming, if i tighten them up they just stretch again.
please help.

bearings in the AC pump may be near stuffed putting more strain on it?

Are you tightening the locknut on the front of the idler pulley after you adjust it up?

their is no lock nut, but i mite make a mesurement and see if it moves, or can i some how tell if bearings are worn out,
i spun it when engine is of, but felt ok.

The locknut is the nut on the front of the idler pulley. I'm sure they're the same as my 100 series.

i havnt tuched the pully nut, just the ajuster bolt

that will probably be your problem if i was u i would pull your belt off and give the adjuster idler and the a/c pully a spin to see if they make any noise if they do replace the bearingd ;)
