2.4td surf Q's

ive spent too long over in the suzuki area, so i bout a toyota surf 2.4 turbo diesl.

great car, bit gutless, needs some bar work asap!!

what is the best way to make the surf move along a bit faster? engine was just rebuilt, injector pump reco'd, new injectors etc.
are there bigger turbo options that actually make a difference? superchargers? exhaust or anything little that makes a big difference?

im also chasing some ideas for my bullbar, sidestep, and rear bullbar builds.
if anyone has links or pics, please show me. alssooo, pics of the front bashplate, i need to make up a new one of them too.

and just any general info i should know about the 2.4 turbo diesls.

oh and can you get an arb airlokka for the front independent suspenion in a surf??

Yea, exactly the same locker as IFS hilux diff, just with ADD.
Take too long to write it all up & add pics etc. (plus I'm too lazy), so have a read on the Surf Site when you get some time ... http://www.toyotasurf.asn.au/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

thats a bloody good looking bar and tailgate. is that tailgate filling in bit an aftermarket part? looks better than the gay reverse lights next to the numberplate

Rear bar was built by Brooksy (several years ago now) and tail gate is factory issue for those with the factory rear tyre carrier. The centre panel (ABS plastic) I did have it filled in the centre/right as it has the bolt on catch for the factory rear tyre carrier there.
