I would like to say thankyou to all those who supported the event in whatever capacity.
I would also like to offer comiserations to all those who broke or carnaged. We all look forward to the oppertunity to push the limits of both machine and driver and finding this limit sometimes comes at a price.
however I would like to say a special thanks to the volunteers who suffered the worst carnage of the night going above and beyond to support and assist other club members unfortunatle two of these vehicles were damaged beyond driveability and had to be towed home.
thanks to pete for organising the run and allowing the use of his private property this is appretiated are we all know it is getting increasingly hard to find new tracks and places to play.
TJM for supporting Coights Creek Jimmy showing everyone what a skill he has and how capable the Jeep realy is it was a marvel to watch and would not be mached all night . It was driven only by a couple of other vehicles that being a massive achivement however none of which had the same feather touch approach, Wes opting for a techneq that better resembled a grasshopper on hot coals nice air WES
Time for the downer some people are of the oppinion that it is both the duty and responsibility of the chech point official to recover a strckened vehicle this is not true . Every driver is responsible for his or her own actions and their poor jugment shouldn't be the burden of a volunteer who more often than not is blamed for circumstance that are beyond their control.

Unfortunatly some of us were called upon to do a recovery and were unable to be present.
Great to see that most people that got to CP6 had the good judgment to know that the challenge was something special, and was not suited to all vehicles opting for the lesser more doable option. Pitty the same judgment wasn't showen on other Check Points or some of us would have gone home a little happier.
Glad you enjoyed yourself as did many others and hope everyone got home safe.
Results will be posted as soon as they are made available to me.
