Tee piece adaptor to suit oil pressure sensor 80#

Post by rowenb »

Right have given up on chasing an adaptor plate for oil filter and am chasing a suitable tee piece to plumb to the oil pressure sensor in my 80 1HDT. Where can i chase one up as it would be metric thread being jap and don't want to skimp on quality to run a decent pressure guage.

Mate, just go to your local enzed, pirtek etc. and check out their fittings. When i fitted an aftermarket oil pressure gauge to my 1HD-FT i removed my oil pressure sender (was replacing it anyway) and took it, along with the new gauges sender, down to the nearest pirtek and said i need a tee-piece fitting to attach both of these too and a fitting for the block. Not sure on thread details i used, but they had everything i needed and it all screwed together great. Worth a try! :)
