TRITON FUEL CONSUMPTION

Post by fgi »

Hi All,
I just fitted a bull bar and winch to my ML triton and have noted my range on one tank of diesel has changed from 1,100km to 850km. I am assuming it has to do with the air flow efficiency over the intercooler.
Can anyone suggest a new location for the intercooler or a retro fit fan??? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you

Must be a long range tank, no-one on Newtriton.net is getting anywhere near that from standard... I have bullbar, snorkle and bigger rubber and average 11L/100km ~ 1,000 - 1100km to empty (indicated, usually 110 - 120L fill) with the long range tank...
I wish my lawn was EMO, then it would cut itself...
