2 bolt GQ engine mounts

Post by blowngq »

Can some one post up the link or point me in the right direction for the do it your self gq patrol engine mounts using the bush & mount from the rear control arms. I have seen it before but can't find it. I'm not keen on paying nissan $170 per mount for genuine ones. Either that or any ideas to fix the problem of tearing the mounts Thanks jon.

When I was looking into this I noticed that there is a metal strap that can go over the top of the mount to stop it tearing, I think I saw it on ebay when I was searching for the mounts, can't remember exactilly but it could be something to look into.

you should be able to do something like this

Image

just remove the threaded pin from the top, and the locator pin from the bottom and stick a bolt through the lot with a big shockie rubber on top to absorb any vibrations
