does anyone know how strong defender rear salsburys are??? i wana strengthen the rear of my rangie...i wanted to put a patrol diff under it but if the def diff is strong enough ill go with that ( i am gonna run 37's ) and also any suggestions about what to do with the front would be great...by the way its an 88 model rangie they will be goin in

go toyota 3rds and rovertracks axels/cv .a sals would be strong enough for 37,s but with toyo gear you have a wider range of gearsets and keep the high clearance of the rover housing

A Sals is basically a Dana 60, so plenty strong enough. Have heard of people doing mods to theres to fit the Dana gearsets, and there are also people around building front Salsbury's for rovers.
