Rear Main Seal

Post by cruise75 »

Hi guys, My rear main seal on 75 series is leaking quite bad. Can this be done easily or pain in the butt job? Also, should I replace the clutch when I do it?

Easy job once the gearbox, clutch and flywheel come off. Make sure you use genuine seal or it will leak again, I wouldn't replace the clutch unless it needed doing.

What he said ^^ but I'll add. Make sure your engine breathers are not blocked or it will also leak again.
