new stereo issues, HEPL!!!

Post by 96cruiserute »

Hows it goin.
im trying to put a decent sound system into my 1996 75 series ute. i was planning on putting some 6x9 in either door of the ute. but i have heard from a mate who put them in his gq patrol that they will not fit in my doors. so before i go out and spend the money has anyone had any issues with putting 6x9's in?

any tips or advice would be much appreciated :)

I've seen 6x9's in cruiser doors before, obviously with big spacers. Clearance to the window is the problem.

I have 6.5" splits with 24?ish mm mdf spacers. You'll have to cut the door.

I installed 6x9's in my 75 last week and had no issues at all.
