Holley/Webber on a 1.3
Re: Holley/Webber on a 1.3
Neither of those carbies are very good. The stock carby is too finicky and over complicated and the webers take alot of work to run properly offroad. I found the best bolt on carb swap is the carb of a corolla 3k/4k as they are fairly simple carbs. Very cheap to get too.

webers work well if you put in the time to tune them correctly. Not many carby places know how to make them work for the bush so its mostly DYI. There is a topic in here somewhere i started years ago about webers on a sierra. find it and read.
Oh , if you want to run a snorkel then forget the weber as it doesnt like them. restricts the airflow too much.
