Pete, I flicked around the TT site and emailed the following with no luck ont he answer so far, though I probably missed it.
I picked up a wedding photo gig on the Friday, so I probably won't even leave Homebush till close to 11pm at a guess. What time can people get in the gate till over the Friday night? (just spectating this year)
Hey all,
This being my first year going. I have been told some good and bad stories about getting in the gate and the line up. All honesty how bad is it? I only live 1.5 hours away. How long is the line to get in at gates open (10am)?
Is it a first come first to claim on camp sites? I will be with 5 other cars with 10 people in total so we wanted to stay together if possible.
Dave, the line up on Friday morning is crazy, have you seen the dvd where they drive up Putty Rd, and theres a few kms of cars lined up on the side of the road, thats the line up to get in.
I usually get there sometime mid arvo on friday and not wait too long.
The people that try to get to the front of the line for when the gates open, are usually there waiting sometime thursday I believe.
As for camping spots, its pretty much first in best dressed, but the people that go every year have their areas that they go to every year. I know I do.
Theres heaps of room to camp, so you shouldnt have too much trouble finding a spot for all of you.

We are having trouble also making contact. At this stage keep pestering CCDA as they have been the worst ever this year. We have requested a financial member list to be sent prior to us leaving for the comp. We should add that this has never been a problem before but I have only received an acknowledgment of my sent email so far.
If we end up with a list please bring $44 each if you have not tried to join or renew, (correct money is essential-I have no change)
If no list is supplied we will have no alternative to take payment from each of you unless you can show proof of payment.
Please arrive with a filled out form (if you can get one) as it will save us hours.
can I suggest that we don't fill the thread up with the CCDA issues, but email us direct.
3 weeks to go, you little ripper
Thanks Guys
Tony and Steve

I have just received the 2011 CCDA renewal form. If you need one Email me.
I also understand that the CCDA website is now working.
I am promised a financial list so bring CASH to the site. NO BANKCARDS. NO CHEQUES accepted.
Please do not apply direct to the CCDA from now on as they will not have time to process them in time.
Thanks Tony
