Silverstone MT117 performance in mud question

Post by BabyGodzillaGTi-R »

Hey guys,
i know that the MT117 is a pretty old tyre design but anyone on the forum still using this thread pattern?
I'm curious to find out how do u find it's performance in the mud?

I realise that this tyre does not seem to work at all in reverse.
The tyre just cakes up in mud and the thread doesn't clears.
Anyone experienced this problem before?

If i'm driving through thick mud forward, if i don't go fast enough like boggy terrain which requires you to drive forward and reverse when bogged down the tyres becomes a donut and then it won't work.

I was contemplating if it's a good idea to swap the front tyres direction so that i have better traction when reversing.
My RIG sucks big time.
