I have sold alot of them in the past with exceptional results.
Custom - Im not sure how you get those spool up results and top end power without either massive EMP or huge amounts of fuel and timing?
Its just that I have b
een doing toyota and niss upgrades for a very long time and have used every possible combination of wheels and housings from every manufacturer and have never come across a turbo that can do everything that you have achieved.
Come on Northside, you have plenty of experience, granted, and I technically agree with your approach to tuning, but the comment that you have tried every possible combination from every manufacturer is just too much. I could point right away to several turbos that are not Toyota based that are better on a diesel in the 3L-4.5L range than a GT2860R/RS. Thanks for the compliment that I have achieved better results than you ever have on these Toyotas :-)
No timing was changed, fuel is not on the stock pump limit - small smoke puff on startup similar to stock unlike a maxed out pump. Only things touched when the install happened were the aneroid and main fuel screw (half a turn from where it was). Running around 19:1 AFR at peak power.
At the end of the day, if I make bold claims that are not realised by the customer who purchases my product, I will not succeed. As it is, every customer has been ecstatic and I wouldnt have it any other way.
Importantly, my desktop simulations give me with a couple of kW of where it should be time and time again, whether Diesel DI, IDI, Rotary or Otto - this is how I get the results, I already know what they will be based on a DESIGN before I try it in reality.
So my approach is completely different - I dont try and mix and match until I hit the jackpot, I design it to work in the first place
