2000 Hilux Rear Coil Conversion

Post by fervit »

I'm looking to replace my leaf suspension with coils in the rear. I just need some help, and yes I've done some searching...

I know people put 4runner/surf diffs in the rear of earlier model hilux's, but in the 2000 model, is the rear diff wider? What diffs will be the same width?

I'm actually running a 60 series diff in the front, but this is the same track as the rear (or so i'm told by my 4wd mechanic), so I want something to match the track of this.

Yeh the 4runner coil rear housing is the same width as the 60 series.

When I put the coil rear in my truck the info I got was from the same model as yours so you can put it in.

There is a heap of info and pics about it,
