Just bought a 79 series cruiser utility. Will 15x8 rims with 33" tyres fit on it factory?

No, need 16 inch rims.

as said, 79s are 5 stud and only fit 16s and you will need at least a 2inch lift to fit with minimal scrubing

As above, you will need 16 inch rims, but I have 285/75 tyres on with no scrubbing with no lift.
