Flat pitman arm

Post by sprungupcruiser »

G'day fellas, I have done a SOA on my bj73 and now seem to have an issue with my steering, being that the drag link end at the pitman arm hits on the spring on about half up travel. We noticed this about a week before the comp so we did a bodge fix, it really is dodgey it worked but it needs fixing. So I need a flat pitman arm but can't find one advertised for a 70 series, will the one in the link below fit on to the shaft out of the steering box? I can change the drag link end to suit the tapered hole, so that doesn't matter. The one in the link is for a solid axle lux. Cheers

should fit. 80, 75 series all fit hilux boxes so I think it will. Late model 2wd hilux ones are pretty flat and should be cheaper at a wreckers.
